THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE

When the report arrives after the decision.

The information exists, but across systems, spreadsheets and people. Managers rebuild the picture each time they need to explain a delay, a resource constraint or an operating exception.

  • Where is work moving away from the plan?
  • Can managers connect resource availability with the work ahead?
  • Which recurring report or information search slows down a response?

ONE LOGIC ENGAGEMENT / WELL SERVICING

A first integrated view of crews, equipment and safety.

The operating gap

An Alberta well-servicing company had no integrated reporting solution to give management a view across its field operations. Leaders needed to bring crew readiness, work activity, equipment and safety into the same management conversation.

Built around the operating decisions

One Logic worked directly with the CEO, COO and functional leaders to turn their operating priorities into a reporting solution. We brought together workforce, work-order, equipment and safety information, and automated the preparation of safety and HR reports.

What management could now see

The business moved from having no integrated reporting capability to a practical management view of its people, equipment and work. Leaders could now review:

  • Crews and qualifications

Who was on the ground, crew and worker schedules, certifications, competencies and turnover.

  • Work and rig activity

Current and scheduled work orders, work-order history and reported rig hours.

  • Equipment and readiness

Equipment inspections, stock, spare parts and rental history.

  • Safety performance

Safety observations, drills and performance reporting.

A PRACTICAL STARTING POINT

Start with the decision that matters.

Start with one consequential operating decision or recurring task. The first scope can establish the information needed or implement a solution when the requirements are clear.
